The Philippines' leading airline, Cebu Pacific Air (PSE:CEB) makes world-renowned island destination, Boracay, more accessible to tourists from Hong Kong, as part of its continuous efforts to boost tourism into the country. It launches a seat sale on its thrice weekly direct services to Kalibo, the international gateway to Boracay.
Passengers can book PHP699 seats from Hong Kong to Kalibo until December 5, 2014 or until seats last. Travel period is from February 19 to March 28, 2015.
Boracay is popular for its white sand beaches, night life and water sports activities. It has been cited by Travel + Leisure Magazine and TripAdvisor as one of the best island destinations in the world.
"We are excited to offer Hong Kong tourists Cebu Pacific's trademark lowest fares and convenient access to the island of Boracay, just in time for the Chinese New Year. The island is perfect for those looking for a fun and relaxing getaway. We encourage guests to book their flights in advance to get the best travel deals," said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.
Iyog also suggested guests avail of two new CEB travel products when planning that trip to Boracay—CEB Transfers and the CEB Fun Data SIM.
CEB Transfers gives guests seamless transfer service from the Kalibo airport to the guest's resort or hotel in Boracay Island. It already includes land and ferry transfers and other government fees. Guests can book this through the website or reservation hotlines for as low as PHP450.
Meanwhile, guests can also purchase the CEB Fun Data SIM onboard international inbound flights, so they can enjoy 1.5 GB worth of mobile broadband data when in the Philippines. Aside from the mobile data allocation valid for 15 days, the SIM also includes 100 text messages and 10 minutes of voice calls to all Philippine mobile networks, as well as discounted rates for international calls.
The LTE-capable SIM can be used with a variety of gadgets, since it is pre-cut for devices using regular, mini-, or nano-SIM slots. It is available for PHP500 per SIM pack.
For bookings and information, guests can visit www.cebupacificair.com or www.cebupacific.cn or call (852) 2722-0609. The latest seat sales and details may also be found on Cebu Pacific Air's official Facebook, Twitter and Weibo pages.
