Cebu Pacific now flies direct, non-stop flights to Kuwait

Manila, September 2, 2014 -- The Philippines' leading airline, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) now flies thrice weekly, non-stop flights from Manila to Kuwait. The maiden flight for Cebu Pacific's Manila-Kuwait service departed at 9:30PM this evening.

 

CEB's thrice weekly flights from Manila to Kuwait depart at 9:30PM (Manila time) and arrive in Kuwait at 3:10AM (Kuwait time) every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Flights from Kuwait to Manila depart at 4:40AM (Kuwait time) and arrive in Manila at 7:20PM (Manila time) every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

 

Cebu Pacific is the only airline offering non-stop flights to Kuwait. CEB's Manila to Kuwait service utilizes CEB's brand-new Airbus A330-300 aircraft with a configuration of 436 all-economy class seats. It offers fast and convenient same-terminal connecting flights for guests taking advantage of CEB's extensive Philippine network.

 

Passengers may also opt to purchase baggage allowance, seat selection, CEB Air Wi-Fi connectivity inflight and Hot Meals.

 

The maiden flight passengers were sent off by CEB VP for Corporate Affairs, Jorenz Tanada, Ambassador Waleed Ahmad Al-Kandari of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait, Department of Foreign Affairs Executive Director Ricardo Endaya, and Department of Tourism Assistant Secretary Benito Bengzon Jr, among other esteemed guests.

The airline also took delivery of its third Airbus A330-300 for the year. The brand-new Airbus-A330 arrived at the NAIA Airport today, September 2, 2014. With this delivery, CEB operates five wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft for its long haul operations.

Meanwhile, CEB will fly non-stop to and from Sydney four times a week, starting on September 9. Aside from Sydney and Kuwait, CEB's long-haul division operates direct flights between Manila and Dubai.
