Cebu Pacific and WWF unite for a climate change adaptation program

Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ leading domestic airline, and World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF-Philippines), the world’s largest conservation organization, have teamed up for the “Bright Skies” program to help address global warming. Under this project, Cebu Pacific passengers can opt to donate to the WWF adaptation program in Occidental Mindoro when they book their flights online. The donation amount will be based on the estimated carbon dioxide emission of the flight being purchased by the passenger. Shown here sealing the partnership are (from left): Donna Lampano, WWF marketing services manager; David Valdes, WWF president; Lance Y. Gokongwei, Cebu Pacific Air president and CEO; and Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific Air vice president for marketing and product.
